Who are we?

We're the team behind Revel, and we're thrilled to finally share the fruits of our labor over the past two years.

Why?

As students, we faced a common problem during revision: spending too much time searching for information within lecture notes and videos. Instead of efficiently using revision time to learn definitions and formulas, we found ourselves wasting precious moments flipping through materials trying to find what we needed.

Many students have turned to online tools (from Google searches to AI assistants like ChatGPT) to help with revision. While helpful, these tools often cover information outside the syllabus—which, although good for learning, won't necessarily score well on exams.

Our Official Launch!

And so we created Revel: a ChatGPT-style search tool specifically tailored to your content syllabus, ensuring you stay on track. Revel goes further by pointing you back to your own lecture notes and videos with page numbers and timestamps, keeping your main source of revision anchored to the materials provided by your school.

We had a successful Beta Launch with the outgoing Batch of 2024 last year, amassing close to 500 users, averaging 40 searches every day during their A levels season!

Starting today, We're releasing Revel within RI's JC side, beginning with two of the most popular subjects: Chemistry and Economics. With your support, we hope to scale to other subjects and schools.
