We’ve truly come a long way. I don’t think anyone on the team expected Revel to be such a hit 1. Seeing you guys enjoy Revel as much as we enjoyed building it has truly been the most rewarding thing for us. We started as a small team with a simple vision, and through hours of relentless work, finally accomplished what we sought to achieve.
Estimating each JC RI batch (yearly intake of students) to be around 1100 students, our user base would currently make up half of JC students in RI! 2 We couldn’t be happier to receive this immense support and adoption from our own community.
If not for the consistent support from you guys, Revel definitely wouldn’t be in the state it’s in today. In fact, if we hadn’t been flooded with numerous supportive messages from our seniors during Revel’s Closed Beta phase, I doubt we’d have had the motivation to continue working on it. Every moment of doubt and every "maybe this won't work" conversation suddenly makes sense when you get that first message from a stranger saying "this helped me so much."
We've learned that the best tools aren't just code and features, but rather bridges between where you are and where you want to be. For us, Revel became that bridge between studying harder and studying smarter. And you’ve shown us that we weren't just building a tool for ourselves.
